L’Unique Assurances générales certified CSIO level 3 in the brokerage network

Quebec City, September 13 – L'Unique has achieved Level 3 certification by completing the CSIO Commercial Lines Certification Program in collaboration with its partner Applied Systems Canada. From now on, the insurer will leverage a standardized data set to achieve faster workflows enabling instant quoting for brokers. The streamlined instant quote process enables brokers to obtain quotes in Policy Works in seconds, rather than days.

"For us at L'Unique, it's important to invest in the development of technological skills in order to offer the best tools to our broker network," said Magalie Malenfant, Regional Vice President, Business Development at L'Unique. "The simplicity and efficiency of the service enable us to improve the service we offer our customers," she adds.

L'Unique has met the requirements of all three levels of the certification program:

  • Level I (Foundation)
  • Level II (Verified)
  • Level III (Certified)

By completing this program, L'Unique has demonstrated its commitment to implementing the CSIO's Commercial Lines Data Standards to create greater value for its brokers, partners and customers.

Applied automates the commercial lines underwriting process between brokerages and insurers through a modern, standards-based data exchange. Brokers can submit one underwriting application to multiple insurers, eliminating the need to re-enter data into insurers' portals. Insurers can then identify and simplify the most suitable P&C insurances from quotation to confirmation, speeding up response times to commercial quotes and increasing brokers' confidence in presenting their choice of commercial products.
